Welcome to the Merriman Hotel Web Site. The hotel, which has the largest thatched roof in Ireland, consists of 32 bedrooms, 'The Quilty Restaurant' and 'M'asal Beag Dubh Bar'.

Kinvara is a picturesque fishing village, located on the South Shores of the famous "Galway Bay". The Irish name for Kinvara is 'Chinn Mhara' which translates as 'the head of the sea', and that is exactly where Kinvara is located - at the head of Kinvara Bay.

M'Asal Beag Dubh Bar > The bar, with its snug, and Traditional Irish Music sessions, is the ideal location to enjoy some locally grown oysters, washed down with a pint or two of the black stuff!
