Stoops House is surrounded by 2 acres of landscaped gardens in the middle of a fantastic countryside with woodlands and picturesque views, and is located in the South of County Wicklow, south of Dublin. Coolattin & Shillelagh contains many kilometres of wonderfully unspoilt mountain trails of which The Wicklow Way is the best known, providing a number of trails for all those who enjoy challenging hiking. The historic oak woods of Tomnafinnogue and Tinahely Railway Trail provide a perfect amenity for casual walkers. If your passion is golf, you surely will not be disappointed by Coolattin Estates famous 18 hole golf course that is a 5 minute walk away from Stoops. Also horse-riding is easy to practice and it allows to enjoy spectacular views of the magnificent area where the guest house is set. Stoops House hosts Marquee Weddings and is equipped to organize large fully customisable wedding receptions as well.

All guest bedrooms are generous in size and have been designed to a high standard throughout. We have tried to produce a modern, yet warm feel within each of our individual rooms with the use of atmospheric lighting, modern artwork & wall hung LCD televisions
Guests have a choice of TV, radio and coffee/tea making facilities. All our rooms benefit from modern full en–suite facilities set within a clean minimal design.
We have a broad selection of room types to suit most requirements. King size beds are standard in all rooms which can be re–arranged on request to become a family room, a single room, a triple room or a twin room. A disabled room is located on the ground floor.

Stoops House is located 500 meters opposite Coolattin Golf Club, 3 km east of the village Shillelagh & 4 km north of the village Carnew. Stoops House lies in a wooded valley almost surrounded by hills in the beautiful and historic village of Coolattin.
From Dublin Airport, Dublin Ferry Port and Dun Laoghaire Ferry Port – Follow signs south for M50 continue on M50 until you reach the N11, follow signs south for Wexford, continue south on N11 until you reach the town of Gorey, then sign posts for Carnew, go through the village until you see sign post for Coolattin, follow road for 4km.
From Rosslare Ferry Port – Follow signs north for N25, continue on N25 until you reach N11, continue north until you reach town of Ferns, then signs for village of Carnew, go through village until you see sign post for Coolattin, follow road for 4km.

Lunch and evening meals can be provided by visiting Parkview restaurant located in the quaint little village of Shillelagh less than 3km down the road, this restaurant is renowned for its home cooking. Patrons can also pop next door for drinks in Parkview House.
