Shandon Hotel provides a purpose built children's activity centre, which operates daily in July and August and over weekends. It is a supervised indoor and outdoor play area, open from loam to 9pm, suitable for children from 3 years upwards. There is an extensive number of "Little Tikes" toys and games. For the older child we have table tennis, mini snooker and soccer table, outdoor 5–a–side football pitch, mini basketball court and a giant chess and draught board.
