Céad Míle Fáilte to the Old Ship Inn Guesthouse & Restaurant. The Old Ship Inn is a charming guesthouse, established in 1881. A family owned and run business, the Old Ship Inn was bought and revamped in late 2007 by brothers Ronnie and Phillip Fitzgibbon. Idyllically situated in the heart of Castlegregory village, affording our guests the perfect base to explore and enjoy the innumerable activities locally both on land and sea! At the Old Ship Inn, we believe a guesthouse should offer more than a good night's sleep. It should create an environment that allows you to relax, enjoy your surroundings while having the best of facilities close at hand. Facilities nearby include golf, blue flag beaches to surf and windsurf, angling, hill-walking, scuba diving, horse riding and many more outdoor activities. A warm welcome awaits every guest.
Old Ship Inn has 8 luxury bedrooms. All with an en-suite and heated towel rails. All of our deluxe rooms are doubles or twins with two spacious family rooms. Each room is finished to hotel standard and include coffee/tea making facilities, hairdryers, luggage racks, Wi-Fi access, iron and board, and direct dial telephones.
Old Ship Inn Guesthouse is located the heart of Castlegregory village on the Dingle Way walk route. Castlegregory is located on the north side of the Dingle Peninsula, half way between Tralee and Dingle. It is ideal for all sporting, leisure and cultural amenities. Have a camera ready because this area is one of the most picturesque in Ireland and pictures taken here will be a memory for a life time!
Dinning at the Old Ship Inn is a culinary delight. The Old Ship Inn boasts a choice of menus from the breakfast Menu where a full continental breakfast is served every day, the Lunch Menu in the spring and summer seasons and delicious Early Bird Menu (4:30 to 7pm) in the autumn and winter months to the renowned A la Carte Menu that is enjoyed all year round. Menus are flexible - any of the starters can be served in a main course size, and, although it undoubtedly helps to like seafood, there are plenty of other choices. Main courses include excellent meats to balance up all that ultra-fresh seafood especially rack of Kerry lamb and char-grilled fillet steak (supplied by a local butcher).
