The garden country of Ireland , Wicklow, is located nearby, while some of Ireland's finest golf courses including the K Club and the Curragh are within easy reach. Horse Racing at the world–renowned Curragh Racecourse, Punchestown Tacecourse and Naas are all within fifteen minutes of the hotel. There is car racing at Mondello while the National Stud and Japanese Gardens are all within easy reach. Day trippers may also like to visit the scenic areas of Glendalough and the Blessington Lakes .

The Great Hall located in the main house can accommodate up to a maximum of 80 guests , while the Thompson suite can cater for larger groups from 150 – 400 guests.
