About Hanoras Cottage

The Wall family extend a very warm welcome to our multi-award winning country house and restaurant located between Clonmel and Dungarvan in the Nire Valley, Ballymacarbry, Co. Waterford, Ireland. We look forward to making your visit a very memorable one.

Understated luxury is the hallmark of our 4 star bed and breakfast accommodation. All of our bedrooms are spacious, thoughtfully furnished, with individual decor and all have jacuzzi baths.

Hanora's Cottage is an ideal location for walkers of all grades, hill, forest or country road. Our 4 star accommodation is a particular favourite with bird watchers, photographers & nature lovers as from our dining-room and bedroom windows you are treated to a wide variety of wild life.

Husband and wife team Eoin Wall and Judith Hovenden are the perfect combination in the restaurant at Hanora's Cottage. If you are on a gluten free, dairy free, wheat free, weight watchers or vegetarian diet etc. we will be delighted to cater for you.

Hanoras Cottage Rooms

Hanoras Cottage has 10 rooms in total. We have 3 standard rooms which can be double or twin single configuration. These standard rooms come with jacuzzi tub ensuites. Our 7 superior rooms are extra spacious and come with a queen size bed, double jacuzzi tub & sitting area. All Rooms are on the first floor and enjoy views of  either the mountains or the riverside gardens. TV,Phone,Tea/Coffee,Hairdryer are standard in all rooms.

Hanoras Cottage Location

We are located in Nire Valley Ballymacarbry Co Waterford.Ballymacarbry village is 12 miles from clonmel and 15 miles from Dungarvan on the Clonmel - Dungarvan Road. We are a 2 hour journey from Dublin taking the motorway to the Cahir junction and following direction to Clonmel and then on to Ballymacarbry. Likewise from South West take the motorway to Cahir junction. Visitors from the East can travel via either Clonmel Co Tipperary or Dungarvan Co Waterford.
