About Foleys Townhouse & Restaurant
Originally an 18th century Coaching Inn, Foleys Townhouse has hosted generations of travelers. Built in 1795 part of the building housed the Royal Irish Constabulary during the latter half of the 19th century, and it was here that the local Fenian rebels were incarcerated during the 1867 rebellion. Since its inception, the ownership of the business has been in the same family for three generations. Current owner / managers Carol and Dennis are personally committed to achieving the highest standard of guest comfort, while maintaining a distinct personal touch in a family like ambiance.
