Rail ~ A mainline train from Dublin serves Sligo, some 40 minutes drive from Donegal Town. A railway service to Belfast is accessible via Derry, some 50 minutes drive from Donegal Town. Onward connections to Dundalk, Drogheda and Dublin are available from Belfast daily.
