Welcome to Ard na Ciúin, West Waterford's leading destination guesthouse. Based in Ballyduff Upper, near Lismore, Cappoquin, Fermoy and Dungarvan, Ard na Ciúin provides ideal Bed & Breakfast accommodation as a touring base for County Waterford, County Cork and the rest of Munster. There are a whole host of activities in the vicinity of our West Waterford guesthouse, such as fishing, golf, horse riding, historic tours, photography, walking and more!

Ard na Ciuin Guesthouse Rooms

Furnished with good quality furniture and fittings, ALL of the bedrooms at Ard na Ciúin are tastefully decorated, large, and have sumputous beds with pillow-top matresses and top quality linen.

ALL rooms have spacious en-suites with purpose built shower cubicles, so no climbing in & out of a bath!  or fighting a clingy shower curtain!

All of our guests tell us they enjoyed a great night's sleep, helped by the fact that we are off the beaten track!  We are aptly named Ard na Ciúín  ("Quiet Hieghts")

From the moment your arrive you will feel at ease in these peacful surroundings. Guests who stay longer than originally planned are commonplace.

At Ard na Ciúin you are surrounded by nature, prompting our description of 'Tranquil, Wild Beauty'.  Long sunny days are followed by stunning sunsets, rivalled only by ‘soft’ days with magical rainbows. Early morning mists often rise up through the Glen heralding  warmer weather & creating a truly enchanting start to your day.
Falcons soar in the skies above whilst summertime swallows dip into our ponds to drink. Venturing out of the adjacent forest, wild deer may be seen in the surrounding fields, along with hares, foxes & if you are lucky, the occasional badger!
